Congratulations Bridge Runners!

Congratulations runners for completing the 2011 Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Run! We are so proud of your efforts and the hard work you put in training this summer. It was wonderful to meet so many fitness role models in Michigan, and cheer you on at the finish line.

As a reminder, please remember to fill out your post event response form so we can continue to improve the bridge run each year. We value your suggestions and comments.

Please send responses to:

If you are wondering about pictures from the bridge run, we haven’t posted them yet. We will inform all runners through this blog and your email once the FREE pictures from the weekend are posted to our Flickr account. It may take a couple weeks to get the pictures back from our photographer.

Thank you for your participation and patience. If you have questions, please contact us at marketingevents@michiganfitness.org.

  2. I am curious if the times will be posted on here, or if there is a way to find out?

  3. I had so much fun! Thank you to all the folks who made this possible — and the rainbow was a really nice touch, too!

  4. I had such an awesome time. As a lifelong Michigan resident this was my first time seeing the Mackinac Bridge and boy was it a sight! Thank you so much for choosing me! I truly hope to be chosen again!

  5. Absolutely loved it!! Thank you for the opportunity to run over one of our state’s great landmarks. I enjoyed everyone’s company…what a great group. Happy trails to everyone…and may the wind be always at our backs…like it was on Monday!! :)

  6. Now THAT was a run to remember !!! Awesome job putting this together and making it a great run. Already planning on putting in for the lottery again next year. Thanks for a great running memory.

  7. One more “Thank You” I failed to include in my earlier post goes to the Men and Women of the National Guard, who were there, in the wind and cold, watching out for us all! THANKS and Kudos to you all for your Service, not only on a cold and windy Labor Day morning, but also for volunteering to be in our Armed Forces and being willing to put yourselves in Harms way for Liberty and Freedom!
